My best friend from my early elementary years died last night at 16.

Ask someone about their story before you judge them.

This is the sweetest boy you could have ever known.  His sister, who is my age and went to high school at the same time as me, works with special needs kids.  Last night, my mom, who is the chaplain at the hospitals in my region got a call around dinner time.  I could tell that it was serious and someone young had lost their life.  I did not know that it was Page’s brother, nor did I know he committed suicide.  So often we look at suicide and see the issue, bullying, but it is so easy to focus on the issue and not the person.  Coltyn was a sweet boy who’s life was ended because others decided to prey on his sweetness.
